Wanaka Golf Club - 18 hole golf course

Wanaka Golf Club is located on the hill above town and offers spectacular views of the Lake and Mountains.

The course is suitable for golfers of all abilities, and green fee players are welcome at all times, as well as club days. Bookings are advisable.


The Pro Shop has a good range of equipment for hire including motorized golf cars and there is a very comfortable Clubhouse with full bar facilities and cafeteria.


There is a practice area available as well as a driving area (although players must provide their own golf balls).

The Clutha, Hawea and part of the Matukituki Rivers are open all year round but in other rivers the season runs from 01 Nov - 31 May. Check your license or go with a guide.
